  Stayed here last minute for a couple of nights and I'm really happy that I did! There aren't that many budget hotels here in Wainwright (some are really bad and dirty), but I must say I was surprised at how clean and homey the rooms were. The management seems to go out of their way to please you and make your stay great. Thanks again and I'll definitely be coming back here when I stop by in Wainwright again. :)

  Clean, budget hotel for a very cheap price. Have all the essentials you need. They also recently renovated their rooms to include kitchenettes, which is perfect if you are staying long term and looking to make/cook your own food from time to time. They also have a new restaurant which offers delicious sushi!

  Walked in- lobby was dark; didn't feel welcoming. Smelled a fair amount like mouse feces, covered up by a heavy scent of industrial air freshener. Checked in at 6:00 am. Which was awfully nice of them to do for us. We checked out at roughly 6:30 am. Walked into the room to find the trim fairly tattered, the bathtub looked like it had enough caulking on it to finish an entire his and hers bathroom. The television was new, but that didn't make up for what we found shortly after getting ready to catch some much needed z's. Just like any "budget" hotel room I pulled up the mattress cover to look for any deterring signs of health and safety. Satisfied temporarily with one bed. I turn to the other bed to check it as well. That is when I decided we had to check out. There was something which looked brownish red on the bed sheet. The owner of the inn stated it was just oil, due to the nature of the province, he had a point, yet his argument was invalid. If you are for some reason crawling into bed with your oil soaked gloves-- you're doing it wrong. After a bit of an argument with the owner of the inn we left feeling dirty and grungy.

  To my surprise, very affordable, clean and quiet rooms, extremely friendly service as well. The bed feels harder than most beds, albeit this isn't a negative, just a matter of preference, better in my humble opinion. Would definitely stay here again. The only problem guests might have is accessing the internet. Although the signal is very strong, there is a minor trick to do when connecting, here are the solutions for iPhone and computer users.
  
  For Iphone users, if you connect to the wi-fi and get the following message when trying to browse, Safari can't open the page because it can't find the server (could be any browser, eg: google chrome, the message might be different however), simply go to settings, click on wi-fi, on the right side of the network you wish to connect to (example: Waingwright inn), click on the blue (i) icon (it is in a blue circle), this will take you to a screen where you see, DHCP (which should already be the first thing you see when you click on the blue i icon), the fourth line is DNS, click on that and put in 8.8.8.8, if that doesn't work, try 8.8.4.4, that should solve the problem.
  
  For computer users, (it's a little more work, still quite simple and straight forward), click on your wi-fi icon, it should take you to a screen where you see a list of networks to join, click network and sharing center, click on wireless network connection, it should take you to a screen with options like, Details, Wireless Properties, Disable, Diagnose, Properties. Click on properties, double click internet protocol version 4, click "use the following IP address" then enter the following information, IP Adress: 192.168.1.212, Subnetmask should automatically fill, leave it as it is, and Default gateway, type 192.168.1.1,
  
  After that, select (if not already selected by default) Use the following DNS server address:
  Enter 8.8.8.8 for Preferred DNS Server, and enter 8.8.4.4 for Alternate DNS Server, click Ok, and you should be connected, if this step doesn't work, go back to default gateway and change the last 1 to a zero, as such 192.168.1.0.
